Look for your child’s strengths and if you persist, you will find them. Jack Carroll, born in 1998, 11 weeks premature, was a cerebral palsy child. Jack’s disability, however, did not stop him. All children are born with a gift, and Jack, with the help of his parents, went looking for and found his. Jack has been deemed a “comic genius” with an incredible personality. The success he has experienced developing his linguistic intelligence, coupled with his natural interpersonal intelligence to relate to others, fuels his passion to perfect his comedic talent. By the age of 12, Jack was both impassioned and well-prepared, carried along by a chain of events that supported his innate calling. Actor and comedian Jason Manford saw a video of Jack performing stand-up comedy at his parents Wedding Anniversary. At Manford’s invitation, Jack performed live on Manford’s show to an audience of over 1,400 people. The show was picked up and featured on BBC’s One’s The One Show.
